Taraji P. Henson is in her pixie cut era. After spending the summer having fun with shorter styles like bixies and bobs, the actor just went super short with the coolest asymmetrical pixie, and you've simply gotta see it from every possible angle.
Henson debuted the short style for a day of press in New York City to promote her new limited series Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist. She stopped by The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon looking ultra-glam in a black minidress and short hair to match. Her hair, styled by her go-to hairstylist, Tym Wallace, was brushed over to one side and tousled at the crown for a little volume, with the length hitting right below her cheekbone at a sharp angle. Makeup artist Saisha Beecham upped the glam factor with a super shimmery, smoky eye in a cool iridescent gray shade and manicurist Temeka Jackson painted Henson's silver and black-tipped mani.
But wait! There's more! Henson was also snapped out and about in the city in a very chic denim-on-denim outfit that gave us another glimpse of the pixie in all its glory, including the deep parting and perfect balance of sharp angles and effortless volume. It's a little bit '90s—especially when paired with all that denim—but totally classic at the same time.
Henson looks gorgeous in pretty much every single hairstyle you could imagine, but there's something about her with short hair that just feels so right. She rocked an angled micro-bob with gold highlights on the red carpet at the 2024 BET Awards, where she served as host and changed looks more than seven times throughout the show, including a wet-look bob and a wavy long bob with bangs.
